Now think about this; it was a simple marketing change, actually a tiny thing when you think about it, that saved the entire youth vitamin industry in the 1970's - an industry producing more revenue than the combined real estate commissions each year-but an industry that had fallen completely on its face in the early 1970's. Kids didn't like taking the vitamins, and I guess parents were in no position to challenge them.
It was an advertising agency who suggested they shape the vitamin's like Fred, Barney, Wilma and Betty. You know the rest of that story. The vitamin was exactly the same. Someone figured out that selling the sizzle is a requirement in our culture. And THAT is what the real estate industry has been missing for a very long time now, a little sizzle.
